Super Quality Solid Oak Antique Library Bookcase
Dating from the early to mid 20th Century ca. 1920, this Antique Library Bookcase is of Super Quality built from a heavy solid Oak and is of nice smaller proportions. It is break-fronted with a moulded cornice above four glazed doors all with moulding bars, key and working locks. Each interior has three adjustable shelves. Below is a break-fronted base, with beautifully figured moulded top above four cupboard doors; again with key and working locks and each interior has one adjustable shelf. This quality antique bookcase stands on a moulded plinth, splits into two sections for removal and has aged to a warm Oak shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
