These superb early 19th Century Pair of Period Elm Antique Benches are full of wonderful charm and character. They have been constructed with large planks of beautifully figured elm above shaped sides and stretcher for added stability along with peg dowels. They have genuine charm, character, old repairs and have aged to a warm Elm shade with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture beeswax finish.
