Stunning Pair of Antique Bookcases
This Stunning early 20th century Pair of Antique Bookcases are by the renowned makers Robson and Sons of Newcastle, ca. 1900 and are made from Walnut. Each antique bookcase has a rectangular top with gadrooned carved moulded top above a reeded frieeze and two astragal glazed doors with key and working locks. Each interior has three adjustable shelves and they stand on a moulded plinth. The Walnut has aged to a warm shade with wonderful charm, character, a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
