Unusual Dutch Georgian Walnut Antique Chest
This Unusual late 18th Century Dutch Georgian Walnut Antique Chest dates from ca.1800. It has a shaped moulded top above the most spectacular figured walnut shaped front with decorative brass handles and key escutcheons. The drawers are four graduating in configuration with a key and several working locks. The sides are canted and it has a half round moulded edge between the drawers. This fine Georgian antique chest stands on turned bun feet at the front and the Walnut is a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional wood wax.
