This Striking 19th Century Antique Victorian Painted Open Bookcase dates from around 1890. It has a rectangular moulded top above a slim frieze and two adjustable shelves. This  quality Victorian antique bookcase stands on a plain plinth and it has an aged paint finish which has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of finishing wax for painted furniture.
