This Spectacular 19th Century Quality Victorian Antique Rosewood Desk dates from ca. 1880 and is of nice smaller proportions. This Fine Antique Writing Table has a beautifully figured top with cross banded edges, brass gallery rail, moulded edges and leather writing insert along with inkwells and pen holder. Below is a Mahogany lined frieze drawer with original brass handles, key with working lock and beautiful inlay banding. This Small antique writing desk stands on four elegant tapering legs with quality brass castors and the piece has aged to a warm rich Rosewood shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
