Superb Large Antique Open Bookcase by Warings
This early 20th Century Superb Large Walnut Antique Open Bookcase by Warings is by the renowned maker ‘Warings’ who later became waring and gillows, ca. 1910. This wonderful antique bookcase is of a large size so can store a good book collection and comes with wonderful charm and character. It has a beautifully figured moulded top above six adjustable open shelves and stands on four cabriole legs with shell carvings. The Walnut has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of bees wax finishing.
