Stunning Victorian Antique Oak Games Table
This late 19th Century Stunning Victorian Antique Oak Games Table / Card Table dates from ca. 1880 and is of superb quality. It has a beautifully figured ‘Burr’ Pollard Oak moulded top that opens to double its size, revealing a concealed games compartment in the process and the playing surface is finished in green baize. This fine Victorian Games table stands on four beautifully turned legs with brass cup castors and has an X framed cross stretcher for added stability. The oak is a warm golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of Oak furniture wax finishing.
