Spectacular Figured Walnut Antique Canterbury Whatnot

This High Quality 19th Century Victorian Spectacular Figured Walnut Antique Canterbury Whatnot dates from ca. 1860 and has been built by a true craftsman as the finest quality Walnut timbers have been used that are a wonderful golden colour. It has a decorative pierced gallery above a beautifully figured tier with moulded edge and the lower section has divides (ideal for magazines or records). This fine antique Canterbury has beautifully turned columns, has a lower drawer with small turned handles and stands on turned feet with quality porcelain castors. It is a golden Walnut shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of beeswax finishing.
