Quality Oak 17th Century Chest of Drawers
This Quality Oak 17th Century Chest of Drawers has a wonderful country feel with charm and character. This Early Period Oak Chest has a rectangular moulded top above four Oak lined drawers with moulded edges and pear drop brass handles. The sides have raised fielded panels and the chest still retains its original back boards. It has lovely primitive carved corbels along with raised feet. The Oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of dark Oak wood wax finishing.
