Superb Quality Walnut Antique Victorian Desk
This Superb Quality late 19th Century Walnut Antique Victorian Desk dates from ca. 1880. It has a serpentine shaped moulded edge with the original tooled leather writing insert and beautifully figured grain. This fine Victorian Writing desk sits above a central bow fronted drawer and flanked by four smaller drawers all with the original brass rococo handles. It stands on four fine carved cabriole legs and the piece comes with wonderful genuine charm and character. The Walnut has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
