Description
Osmo Oil Stain is a premium wood finishing product specially formulated to protect and enhance the natural beauty of your wooden surfaces with a tinted colour. This oil-based stain penetrates deep into the wood, creating a durable and long-lasting finish that resists water and stains. Once you have applied the coloured oil stain, it is necessary top coat with Osmo Polyx Oil clear to create a microporous surface, that will not crack, peel, flake or blister. Osmo Oil Stain can be used on wooden floors, stairs and furniture. With a range of rich and vibrant colors to choose from, you can easily achieve the perfect look for your project.
Directions
Ensure the wood is clean, dry and with no previous finishes. Use Osmo wood filler and sand where necessary. Sand the wood in the direction of the grain with the final grit used P120-150 for floors and P220-240 for furniture. Stir well before use and apply with an apply using Osmo brush or Osmo Oil Finish Application Set. Apply very thinly in the direction of the wood grain. Allow to dry for approximately 12 hours. Two coats may be applied if necessary to get a more rich tone but apply thinly. Once you are happy with the colour apply a top coat of Osmo Polyx Oil clear.
