High Quality Victorian Mahogany Antique Chess Table / Drafts Table
Of high quality and smaller proportions, this wonderful antique chess table may be used as an occasional table or to play drafts or chess and dates from around 1860. It has a circular beautifully figured top with a drafts / chess inlay squares surrounded by a Burr ash and mahogany moulded edge. This stunning antique table stands on a beautifully turned spiral pedestal with tripod splayed legs, having fine carvings and the mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional coloured furniture wax.
