Victorian Figured Mahogany Antique Bookcase

This stunning Victorian Figured Mahogany Antique Bookcase dates from ca. 1870 and has a moulded cornice above two glazed doors (one having a small old repair) with key and working lock. The interior has three adjustable shelves. The lower section has two moulded frieze drawers above two beautifully figured doors, with working lock and the interior has one shelf. The bookcase stands on a plain rounded plinth and has aged to a rich Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
