Unusual Regency Mahogany Pedestal Occasional Table

This Very Unusual Mahogany Pedestal Occasional Table dates from the Regency period ca, 1830, it has a beautifully figured lift up lid above a central drawer with cock beaded edge.  This appealing table has decorative lion head handles and the interior has an inkwell and pen holder.  It stands on beautifully turned pedestal with tripod splayed legs and small brass castors, the mahogany is finished to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
