Unusual Decorative Victorian Light Oak Antique Card / Games Table

Dating from around 1870 in the Victorian era, this unusual decorative antique card Table / games table has a moulded top with rounded corners, the top swivels open to double the size    revealing a concealed games compartment and the playing surface is finished in green baize, with brass hinges, one being re instated .  It has a moulded frieze above four decorative turned legs and brass castors.  This wonderful table has been finished all the way round so may be placed in the centre of the room if so desired.  The oak has aged to a mellow shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
