The interior has three adjustable shelves. The lower section has a rectangular top above two cupboard doors with striking figured moulded panels and again beautiful turned columns.

Fine Quality Regency Mahogany Antique Bookcase

This Fine early 19th century Regency Mahogany Antique Bookcase dates from circa 1830 and is of superb quality.   This striking Regency antique bookcase has a moulded cornice above two glazed doors with arched moulded panels and the most spectacular turned columns with acanthus leaf carvings. The interior has three adjustable shelves. The lower section has a rectangular top above two cupboard doors with striking figured moulded panels and again beautiful turned columns. This lovely bookcase stands on a moulded plinth; it splits into two sections for easy removal and the Mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
