Stunning Antique Georgian Mahogany Bow Front Linen Press
This stunning antique Georgian mahogany bow front linen press / clothes press ca 1800 has a moulded cornice above two cupboard doors with intricate string inlay, key and working lock. The interior has five shaped oak lined sliding linen trays. The lower section has a moulded edge above three oak lined bow fronted drawers with swan neck handles. The press stands on splayed bracket feet, splits into two for ease of removals, has the usual character, restorations and is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
