Spectacular Victorian Figured Walnut Serpentine Antique Chest Of Drawers
Dating from around 1880, this spectacular chest of drawers has the most beautifully figured serpentine moulded top above three graduating serpentine shaped drawers with stunning central carvings and original turned handles. The corners are canted, moulded and have elegant carved corbels and this stunning antique stands on cabriole carved legs. The walnut has aged to a rich golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
