Quality Oak Antique Globe Wernicke Bookcase
This Quality Oak Antique Globe Wernicke Bookcase / Stacking Barristers Bookcase dates from the Edwardian era, ca. 1900. It has three glazed sections each having a glazed door that lifts and slides back using a brass handle. This superb Antique Oak bookcase stands on a moulded plinth with working drawer and decorative handles. Each section splits for removal. The Oak is a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of Oak wax finishing.
