  • We have WYLIE & LOCHEAD walnut sideboard(?) which we use as a desk! It is, by far, the most admired item which we possess and we wonder if you can give us any more details – it is 63 inches long, 27 inches wide and 32 inches high – and we love it! There is a centre drawer and two deep drawers either side and on the back board there are signs of four screw holes each side which we think the upright backing board would have been attached to. The legs are four and are bulbous but elegant.
We wondered if the is a dining table to match.
Your help would be much appreciated.

          • Hi
Im not too sure, but most good manufacturers of the period did make pianos as they were very popular, so I would think they probably did
            Thanks

I have a large dining room table, 6 dining room chairs and a sideboard, all of which carry the Wylie & Lochhead plaque…. They are Scottish oak but I do not know what age they are nor their value. if I were to send you photos, could you possible give me some indication of their age and value and whether they are saleable……they are located in Ireland but either a Euro or Sterling value would be acceptable. many thanks.

I’ve a Wylie and Lochhead China cabinet. Two glass sections either end and an enclosed centre piece. Stands about 4’ tall by about 4’6 wide

Was just going to put it to the recycling.

    Is it worth anything?

  • I just purchased a stunningly beautiful Wylie & Lochhead dressing table and am wondering where I might learn a bit more about it, I really know nothing other than it is gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. Could I send a picture to someone who might be able to tell me the style, the wood and its approximate age?

Hi there, I was curious to know if I could get some help finding out about a set of drawers with locks but sadly no keys. They have the makers plaque aswell as a number carved into the wood…i believe it is 517EE. Is this some sort of makers mark? I have some pictures I can send but honestly any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you

    • Hi
The numbers are most likely the RD number (Registry Design Number) but without the makers name it would be difficult to offer any further information
      Many thanks

    Hello,
Would you be interested in 8 walnut Wylie & Lockheed chairs and a matching table. They will need some renovation as seat leather is worn. I can forward photographs if you are interested.
    Regards
    Fiona
