Of Lovely Large Proportions, This Early Eighteenth Century Drop Leaf Gate Leg Dining table is of early pegged construction and dates from around 1700. It has two drop leaves which are supported by a gate leg action and stands on beautifully turned legs with cross stretcher for added stability, it also has an oak lined drawer. This delightful table would comfortably seat six people and is full of beautiful country charm and character. The oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
