Huge Oak Antique Stacking Barristers Bookcase

Dating from ca. 1900 in the Edwardian period, this Huge Oak Antique Stacking Barristers Bookcase is stamped ‘Made in Grand Rapids GRM’ a sign of quality. It is of very large proportions, having a moulded top above five glazed sections, each section having a glazed door that lifts and slides back using a small brass handle. The lower section has four drawers with decorative brass handles and this quality antique bookcase stands on a moulded plinth. It splits into several sections for removal and has aged to a warm Oak shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
