Fine Small Mahogany Regency Drop Leaf Table

This Fine Early 19th Century Fine Small Mahogany Regency Drop Leaf Table/ Pembroke Table circa, 1800 has a beautifully figured mahogany cross banded top with two oval drop leaves and has a bow fronted working drawer with decorative brass handles on one side and mirrored on the opposite side with a faux drawer. The working drawer is very unusual as it has a hinged writing slope with green baize insert. This fine small antique dining table stands on four tapering legs with brass castors and has decorative boxwood and ebony string inlay around the edges. The Mahogany is a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
