Elegant Maple & Co Quality Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Antique Card Table / Games Table

Dating from around 1900 and of Maple & Co quality, this elegant antique card / games table has a beautifully figured moulded top with elegant satinwood cross banding.  The top swivels open to double its size, revealing a concealed games compartment in the process and the playing surface is finished in green baize. It stands in four tapering legs with brass castors and has been finished all the way round so may be placed in the centre of a room.  The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
