Spectacular William IV Rosewood Antique Card Table
This Spectacular early 19th century William IV Rosewood Antique Card Table / Games Table / Console Table dates from circa, 1835 has a beautifully figured top which swivels and opens to double its size, once opened it reveals a circular green baize playing surface and concealed games compartment. This sits above a deep shaped frieze with decorative moulding and stands on a tapering shaped pedestal with stunning carvings and stands on a quadraform base with scrolled feet. This fine antique card table has aged to warm Rosewood shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional bees wax wood polish.
