Unusual William IV Antique Scottish Secretaire Chest Of Drawers

Dating from Around 1835, This Unusual Scottish Secretaire Chest Of Drawers has a rectangular top with half round moulded edge above a central secretaire drawer that folds down to reveal a green baize surface and several drawers with small brass handles.  This is flanked by one double drawer and two smaller drawers above three graduating cock beaded drawers all with beautifully turned reeded handles and figured fronts.  This truly unique William IV Chest stands on splayed bracket feet with a shaped apron and the mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of bees wax wood finish.
